GR8Poplar's Meadow - Re-establish rotational hay cutting regime. Cut circa 75% annually. Cut back scrub to create grass/scrub ‘scallops’.

Poplar's Meadow is a remnant of an ancient hay meadow. This meadow still retains species of importance, including Dropwort and Betony.

• To maintain the cutting of the grassland in July and September and collecting the cuttings . This will increase the floral diversity.
• To control scrub and create micro-climates at the same time by cutting the immature scrub in the grassland and cutting the edge of the more mature scrub in scallops.
